From an early age Giuseppe Russi expresses his passion for pastry graduating at a Vocational school for Cate- ring and attending different courses in the most famous Italian schools in this field. In 2008 he opens his own pastry shop PASTICCERIA RUSSI in Laterza. His natural attitude towards the artistic sugar drives him to participate to different competitions. Actually, in 2014 he wins gold at ARTISTICA, in 2015 he becomes Italian artistic pastry chef champion at the international competition of Italy; in 2015 he wins the gold medal in Catania at the plate dessert team competition. In 2016 he wins the bronze medal at the international plate dessert competition in Malta; in 2016 he wins the Italian pastry competition of the FIPGC; thanks to this experience he becomes a member of the Italian pastry team. In 2016 he participates to the pastry Olympic games in Erfurt, Germany winning the gold medal. In 2017 he gets the championship lead becoming world pastry chef at "Hotel fiera" in Milan. In 2019 he becomes coach of the Italian FIPGC pastry team and in the same year they ranked third at the pastry world cup. Nowadays he teaches in professional pastry schools and he is a bakery consultant, too!
